After a great June that’s wrapping up with DJ Jarrod announcing ice hockey for the World Police & Fire Games and the return of the Washington Kastles, July is shaping up to be another great month.
The month starts off with the bronze medal and gold medal games for the 35 and over ice hockey division of the World Police & Fire Games at the Prince William Ice Center in Dale City, Va. Come down for the largest athletic competition to be held in the US (more athletes than the olympics). Bronze medal game is at 10 a.m., gold medal game at 2 p.m. with ceremonies to follow on July 1.
July 2, we’re still working on finalizing the details, but it looks like we’ll have a second day of medal competition at the Prince William Ice Center with the 45 and older division.
We’ll be celebrating Independence Day at the City of Fairfax Independence Day Celebration at Fairfax High School. This will be the third year DJ Jarrod will serve as emcee for the event. Come out and celebrate our country’s birthday!
Be sure to check the link above for more information on the parade and other events going on around the City of Fairfax, including events for the World Police & Fire Games.
July 11, DJ Jarrod will be providing the music and additional sound support for the Washington Capitals rookie camp game at Kettler Capitals Iceplex at 10:30 a.m. See the future of the Capitals up close and personal.
This annual event is also part of the Washington Capitals Fanfest, which features the equipment sale, autograph sessions and a public skating session
July 12, Reston Little League’s all-stars hit the field at Fred Crabtree Park in Reston. It’s a quaint park to visit and catch some great youth baseball, before they get to ESPN!
We #RefuseToLose starting on July 14 as we’ll be providing sound and DJ services for the Washington Kastles of World Team Tennis. It’ll be our third full-time season and fourth overall associated with this franchise that’s known for winning (four championships in five seasons…but whose counting). Check out their web site and don’t fear getting rained out as the Kastles begin their second season at George Washington University’s Smith Center.
Other home dates include: July 16, July 18, July 21, July 22 (Charity Classic), July 26, July 27, July 29 and possible match on July 30.
