We love, absolutely love, the informed consumer. A little bit of research into planning your wedding can help you when it comes time to decide on your vendors. Overwhelming, yes it can be, but this blog post from the DC Ladies is spot on. We’d re-post it word-for-word but it’s better if you click the link to their site:
“Hiring Vendors” from the DC Ladies
All of their points are important, but the most important we feel is “Go with your gut”.
They say:
“At the end of the day, trust your instincts! When you are speaking and meeting with vendors, chances are your first impression will be a good indication of how it is to work with them.”
We agree, 100%, that first impression is very important and why we like to meet with you.
“You may strongly connect with certain vendors and some may turn into friendships. But at the end of the day, this is a business relationship and all that really matters is that they provide a good service for your wedding.”
The majority of our couples are friends. Some, we never knew before they went through the planning process, others we’ve known for year. We really enjoy getting to know our couples and it helps us provide a great service for your wedding.
These ladies really have their finger on the pulse and we enjoy reading their posts.
