For Dera and Joe’s Wedding on Ice, we handled all music and coordination details of their wedding which was held on the ice at Verizon Center. Our familiarity with the crew at Verizon Center helped facilitate many moving parts from video board & ribbon board, to spot lights, total blackout, and the Washington Capitals’ P. A. announcer. Coordination was key with so many moving parts, we spent several hours on the phone with the groom, Joe, to go over timing, scripting, music and cues. Once at the arena, we utilized several communications pieces to maintain contact with all of the moving parts.
Over the last year we have had the opportunity to work on several weddings that have incorporated sports elements into the theme. Some have had minor touches, while others were held in professional arenas, literally.

Our couples have added minor touches from wearing their favorite football jerseys and tossing a football during the introduction to having every guest, server, officiant and even the DJ in a hockey jersey and gloves!
