We are able to provide the level of service we do for weddings and receptions because of some really great wedding planners. We know that each wedding is different, you need to expect the unexpected and go with the flow.
Whether you have a planner, day-of coordinator, or a special friend or family member that is coordinating your wedding day, we’re happy to work with them. We’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented, intelligent and creative wedding coordinators and designers in the Mid-Atlantic region. They’ll work with you, your vendors and establish relationships with your vendors to make your wedding day worry free.
We’ve had the opportunities to learn from them, and them us. If you’re going to have a day-of coordinator, make sure they have the contact information of all of your vendors and they reach out to each at least a month before. The majority of weddings typically find the DJ or caterer running the show, however both have their pros and cons. The DJ has a great handle on timing and flow, where the caterer will know if they need to stall or hurry up and get everyone served.
A good, professional DJ will be able to handle all situations and becomes a defacto day-of coordinator. A professional coordinator will be able to work hand-in-hand with the DJ to facilitate certain events while the DJ is able to remain on the music and not having to chase down friends, family members or the bridal party for cake cutting, special dances, speeches, introductions, etc.
